Während der Wartungsarbeiten ist mit Netzwerkunterbrechungen von bis zu 1 Minuten während des Upgrade-Prozesses zu rechnen.
Allgemeine Empfehlung: Sichern Sie einmalige Daten vor der Wartung, erstellen Sie keine neuen Openstack-Umgebungskomponenten während der Wartung.

Meldung:
Das Betriebssystem des Openstack-Clusters wird auf die neueste Version aktualisiert. Das Openstack Dashboard wird vorübergehend nicht verfügbar sein. Virtuelle Maschinen werden durch die „Live Migration“-Funktion zwischen KVM-Knoten migriert.

Zusammenfassung der Arbeiten: Upgrade von CLM, CARA, der APP-Instanzen-Plattform sowie der Datenbankserver.

Beschreibung: Im Rahmen der Wartungsarbeiten wird die MPKI-Umgebung auf aktuelle, unterstützte und stabile Softwareversionen aktualisiert.
Ziel ist die Verbesserung von Sicherheit, Stabilität, Wartbarkeit und Verfügbarkeit der Plattform.
Während der Migrations- und Neustartaktivitäten zwischen den aktualisierten Komponenten kann es temporär zu Einschränkungen bei der Ausstellung von Produktivzertifikaten kommen.

Beschreibung: Wir migrieren von einer Sophos UTM-Hardware-Appliance zu einer neuen Sophos XGS-Hardware-Appliance und übernehmen dabei alle Konfigurationen und Einstellungen.

Um die Sicherheit unserer Systeme zu gewährleisten und veraltete Hardware zu ersetzen, ist der Austausch unserer Firewalls unerlässlich.
Der Austausch erfordert eine kurze Unterbrechung der Netzwerkverbindung aller Dienste hinter der Shared Firewall.
Wir gehen davon aus, dass diese Unterbrechung nicht länger als 5 Minuten dauert. Einige Dienste wie VPN und StS benötigen jedoch möglicherweise bis zu 15 Minuten zur Wiederherstellung.

Summary: Replace Shared Firewall, as it reaches EoL.
Description: We will migrate from UTM Sophos hardware appliance to a new Sophos XGS hardware appliance, preserving all configurations and settings.

In order to ensure the security of our systems and replace old "end of life" hardware, it is essential that we apply these replacement to our firewalls.
The replacement process will require a brief interrution on network connection of all services behind the Shared Firewall.
We expect that this interruption should not take more that 5min, yet, some services like VPN, StS, might require more time to recover, up to 15min.

Affected services: Network, StS, SSL VPN, FWaaS, SubCa, TSE-PKI, IaaS, BaaS
